Children are expected to be honest on all occasions.
Prompt obedience of all rules and teacher instructions is required.
The standards of the Church and School are to be upheld.
Jewellery of any kind is not permitted. Watches are not classified as jewellery. Where ears have been pieced only pin head studs or clear plastic studs will be tolerated.
Use of bad language is considered a serious offence.
Aggressive behaviour and fighting will not be tolerated.
Chewing gum is not permitted at school.
Lunch is to be eaten at the regular eating time. If necessary, food may be eaten at recess in the assigned eating areas.
At no time is a child permitted on the school roof for any reason or to climb trees in the playground.
Children are not to leave the school grounds without first obtaining the duty teacher's permission and written authorization from a parent.
Property damage: If damage occurs when a child plays within the rules of the school, the school accepts responsibility for the cost of the repairs. If a child damages property because he plays in a restricted area, he/she accepts the responsibility for the damage.
Children are encouraged to consider the rights and feelings of each other.
A note to explain absence from school is required by law.
When travelling to and from school on public transport pupils are expected to remain seated. Eating, drinking, and loud talking are not permitted.
Children are required to walk in the halls and the classrooms of the school.
Access to the school for children is by the rear entrances. The front door is for visitors and parents.
Correct uniform must be worn on all occasions including to and from school. Uniform should be worn in a neat, tidy manner. Hair styles should be conservative. Long hair must be tied back in an accepted manner.
A sun protection policy requires the wearing of hats for all outdoor activities throughout the year.
Children are not permitted to enter or remain in classrooms when the class teacher is not present.
