The educational program of this school gives primary emphasis to the development of Christian values in the lives of its students. Parents and guardians should support the school in encouraging the students to uphold the standards of the Christian church and school. The school will supplement the work of the Christian home and every effort is made to work closely with parents so that each child will achieve his/her potential spiritually, socially, mentally, and physically. Every effort is made to work closely with parents for the success of each student's program. Occasionally questions or problems arise between the student and the school. In many instances, the school is unaware that a problem exists. If parents have any concerns, please call or visit your child's teacher so that a cooperative effort may be made to resolve the problem. Because the school is based upon scriptural foundations, parents are encouraged to follow the Matthew 18 principle in resolving problems, misunderstandings and conflicts. Please address your concerns directly with your child's teacher first. If difficulties continue, please contact the school principal. The School Council and GSC Education Director can only consider parent concerns that have followed this procedure. Parents are expected to attend all school functions along with their children thereby helping to develop a close bond between the home and the school.
